ARP race teams and drivers,

Due to the amount of rain we had this week and the rain forecast for
Saturday, we’re going to cancel the rack Day this Saturday. It's a swamp
out there! I’ve been out there a couple of times this week and am amazed
at how much work was done this past Saturday. Again, I have to thank those
who came out and helped. It truly made a big difference.

The next Track Day dates are at 9:00am on Saturday, February 6 and 9:00am
on Saturday, February 13.

We’ll send a reminder in case you’d like to come out for the fun.

We’ll be holding a staff meeting as soon as I can get everyone together
(in the next week or two) and we’ll finalize the rules, class structure,
schedule, and order or competition, etc. Results of the meeting will be
posted and we’ll be well on our way to making 2010 a great season.

RUMOR: I’ve had several phone calls in the past day or two concerning
rumors of a possible date at ARP for a visit from the Maxxis Mississippi
Dirt Track Series. Is it true? Yes, we’re discussing the possibility with
the series’ promoter but nothing is final. We cannot say one way or
another at this point. I will say it is in the works and as soon as we get
a final word one way or another, we will let you know. The date available
is September 11.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Pit Spots
for those of you who have verbally reserved
pit spots, I must receive your payment of $75 for each pit spot by the
evening of February 1st. That evening, those who have not paid for their
pit spot will lose their reservation and the spot will become available to
anyone who wants it. Don’t forget, the pit spots are $75 each until then,
but after the spots open up on the evening of February 1st, they are $100
each.

That’s about it for now. If you have questions or comments or want to know
about something you heard or anything like that
 just ask.

As always, email me at Frank.Ashe at atoka-raceway-park.com and I will get
back to you.

Thank you.

-Frank Ashe
