Good Afternoon Atoka Racers, Teams, and Fans!!

What turned out to be an awesome weekend has just turned to rain once
again. We do hope everyone that had the chance to get out yesterday and
earlier today did so and felt how great the sunshine in fact was. But
enough about the weather; lets talk rules!

The new Official 2010 Track Rules is now online and ready to view and
print. It contains some critical information concerning the upcoming
racing season at ARP. If you plan on attending a race or have a
family-member or friend racing this season it is very important you read
over the rules and, better yet, print out a copy for your team's use.

Inside the rule book you'll find info about class structure, race dates,
points system, gate opening times, and many other general race information
but also included are very important changes to the existing rules we have
been racing under for the past number of years.

Some highlights are, the new Lucky Dog rule, new rules about lap karts
upon a restart, new information about the new BSP clone class, and much
much more very essential information concerning the upcoming season.
Please read and print out this very important guide to safe racing at ARP!

Also each year at the beginning of a new season we always have some
indications that its difficult to find information on our website or know
when updates have been made to the site.

Our website has been in operation since early 1999. It was the first kart
racing website in this area and we pride ourselves in believing it
contains just about all you would want to know about racing at ARP. Its
very big and I think that's why some visitors may be just too overwhelmed
at trying to navigating it.

Bottom line is this question: How do we know when changes or important
announcements are made?

Quite simple to be honest. If you go to the main Home Page at the very top
is an indicator announcement telling when the last update to the site was
performed. It is always there and if any change is made, it is noted the
date and time of the change and directs you to the Announcements Page,
where is is described in detail and has links to go grab the revised page
or added document.

You can also find any updates we make displayed on our Message Boards.
True you can not post there anymore due to abuse of that privileged, but
all web updates are announced there as well. Also included there, are
copies of EVERY Newsletter we have sent out this season. SO you can read
each newsletter as well as finding out what changes to the site has been
made on the Message Boards as well. The most current newsletter will also
be displayed on the main Home Page.

You can be sure of one thing though; critical updates will be posted and
made to the site as fast as we can possibly do them. Other no so critical
updates may take a day or so but will always be done in a reasonable
amount of time.
