ARP Teams and Drivers,

It’s almost time to race!

Yes, we’re on track to start racing on March 6th – make sure your tires
are prepped, engines freshened, and chassis are weighed-out! The first
practice of 2010 begins exactly at 11:30am.

We have one last weekend before the season kicks off. If the weather holds
out - and it’s supposed to - we’ll be racing in a little over a week.
There are still plenty of things to do so I will be at the track on
Saturday at 9am. We have materials coming in to get some work done but I
am not 100% on what we’ll be working on - I will know more tomorrow and
will let you know. If you can make it out on Saturday, I’d appreciate the
help.

More to come as I know it.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. If you haven’t downloaded the 2010 Rule Book, please
go to http://atoka-raceway-park.com/2010RuleBook.pdf and download and
print it. Then, READ IT. Every team member and driver is responsible for
what is contained in the rule book. There have been quite a few updates
and changes. Before any call is made or any explanation given, the first
response will be, “What does the rule book say?” And that’s how we will
rule – by the book.

2. We will be on time. This year you’ll find that we have outlined the
daily schedule in the rule book (page 12) and we will make every effort to
follow that time-line. That means if practice is advertised to start at
11:30am, the first class will roll onto the track at 11:30am. There will
be no long intermissions or deliberate time delays – we’re at ARP to race,
not to stand around and see what happens next.

3. With the 2010 Rule Book in everyone’s hands, expect short Driver’s
Meetings. If there are announcements or anything you need to know that is
not in the rule book, we’ll let you know then – that’s what the driver’s
meeting is for. We’ll keep it short and sweet but make sure you know
what’s in the rule book.

Safe and Fair.

And as always, if you have question, comments, or whatever, email me at
Frank.Ashe at Atoka-Raceway-Park.com and I’ll get back with you. Remember,
nothing will change if we don't hear from you.

Thank you.

-Frank Ashe
