ARP Teams and Drivers,
The American Legion Fair will be taking place in Millington, Tenn., on
June 3-6, 2010. Their site can be found at:
http://www.americanlegionfair2010.com/.
So other than a good time, this is a great opportunity for racers to
showcase themselves, the track, the sport, and
VERY IMPORTANTLY
to
display their sponsors. Ive arranged space for race teams to set-up
displays of their karts at the fair on Thursday and Friday (June 3rd and
4th).
Anyone who wants to bring out their kart may do so. But, there are some
things you need to know
- Your display must be set-up by 4pm each day. (The gates open at 5pm but
the promoter doesn't want equipment moving in and out as the people get in
line for the fair.) The fair closes at 11pm each night. You do not have to
be there until closing. You may leave when youd like.
- Each karts driver and one crew member will get in the gate for free.
Additional people require a $7 ticket.
- I recommend that you bring an easy-up for shade. You may set up a
display for your team posters, photo albums, etc. to help show off your
team and sponsors.
- You may display your kart on the ground or on a kart stand. Be aware
that if it is on the ground, people may likely climb in and seat
themselves.
- Bring t-shirts, cards, posters, or anything that may promote you, the
track, or your sponsors.
Anyone who desires to set up at the fair needs to let me know via e-mail
that they will be there. Let me know which day (or both) that youd like
to set-up - theres no limit as to how many racers we can put in there. I
have to let the promoter know who is coming, so send your name and the
date to me and I will forward it to them.

Polish up your karts and get ready for a big show thousands are expected
to attend the fair and like I said, it is a great opportunity for all of
us ARP racers.
Let's promote our sport and get some new folks to the track! Thank you!
